We cross the Tamar regularly, so Saltash, Torpoint and up toward Callington are all comfortably in range. The A386 to Tavistock is a different sort of road again — moorland edges, sharp gravel and a lot of unlit single carriageway.
The Tamar Bridge approach and the A388 see plenty of debris punctures, but once you're up toward Tavistock and the moor edge it changes — loose granite chippings and rough verges cut sidewalls rather than puncturing treads. If you've hit a pothole hard up there, ask us to check the inner rim as well as the tyre.
